Ed.S., NCSP

I am a nationally certified school psychologist, completing my eighth year in Cabarrus County Schools and my sixteenth year as a school psychologist working in NC public schools. I am proud to serve alongside our CCS SP team as the Psychological Services Coordinator. 

I completed my undergraduate work in Psychology at West Virginia University (Go 'Eers!) and completed a Master's Degree and Specialist of Education in School Psychology at James Madison University (Go Dukes!). I have a special professional interest in the science of reading, brain-based positive psychology and resilience, supporting student's mental health, and empowering students and families to be their best selves. I enjoy working with my SISP colleagues, collaborating with the MTSS team, and advocating for students with special needs.  I value a multidisciplinary approach to supporting the holistic well-being for all students. In my time away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family, running outdoors, hiking, vacationing, listening to podcasts, and trying new recipes.
