English as a Second Language

We support all international enrollment. Enrollments for K-5th grade takes place at the school. Enrollments for new-to-country students 6-12th grade takes place at the International Enrollment Center by appointment only. 

North Carolina follows WIDA English Language Development Standards. Our department manages data, supports faculty, and parent outreach to support English Learners. You will find resources on all things ESL at the following link: https://wida.wisc.edu/.
