Sixty CCS Students Attend All-Distsrict Honor Band Clinic

Sixty students in grades 7-12 represented nine Cabarrus County middle and high schools at the annual South Central District Honor Band Clinic at Stuart Cramer High School in Gaston County. The students were selected through an audition process that placed them in four ensembles based on grade level. The clinic provided an opportunity for the students to work with renowned music educators for two days in preparation for their concert performance.  Additionally, the ninth and tenth grade participating students served as the commissioning ensemble for the World Premiere of a new piece of band music by Jay Bocook entitled: Liquid.  Congratulations to our CCS Musical Ambassadors!
