HRHS Band in CHINA

Hickory Ridge High School band students traveled to China with their Director, Chris White, to perform formal concerts in Shaoxin, Jiaxin, Shanghai, and Beijing, as well as an exchange concert with the Hongying Elementary School Band. Their concerts were covered by local news, they were one of the top trending topics on Chinese social media, and were treated like celebrities. In addition to the rigorous concert schedule and travel over the ten day adventure, there were many fun opportunites to sightsee and learn about the Chinese culture.
