The holidays are quickly approaching!  Community holiday assistance programs open their applications and interviews in September and October, and will fill up quickly.  Check our Holiday Assistance Resources page for updates regarding community programs and events so you can get your application in early. 

The BIG E – Life Changers, Inc. is hosting a Harvest Day Event on November 22, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm at Logan Multipurpose Center.   Families are invited to come pick up free fresh produce for the holidays!! Please click here to view more information.

Free Haircut Event –  A Whole in One Golf Academy will be hosting a special community event called “Clippers & Clubs” on Monday, November 11th, from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Kutt Masters Barbershop (10901 University City Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28213).  Click Here for more information.

Concord Parks and Rec will be hosting a Winter camp while school is closed in December for children 6-12 years old.   Dates will be December 22, 23, 29, 30, 31 and January 2 from 8:00am-6:00pm.  $20 for City Residents and $35 Non-City Residents.  Click here for more information.
