Community Holiday Assistance Programs

BIG E Harvest Day

The BIG E – Life Changers, Inc. is hosting a Harvest Day Event on November 22, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm at Logan Multipurpose Center.   Families are invited to come pick up free fresh produce for the holidays!! Please click here to view more information.  

Community Thanksgiving Meal

Westford Methodist Church would like to host your family for Thanksgiving.  They will offer a full meal that can be enjoyed dining at the church, you may pick-up a meal, or it can be delivered to your home if needed.  Dine in will be on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025 from 10:30-12:00pm.  Please click here for more information about reserving your meal before Nov. 20, 2025.  – Westford Methodist Church, 273 Hwy 49, Concord, NC 28025.

Clippers & Clubs

Free Haircut Event –  A Whole in One Golf Academy will be hosting a special community event called “Clippers & Clubs” on Monday, November 11th, from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Kutt Masters Barbershop (10901 University City Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28213).  Click Here for more information.

Community Thanksgiving Meal 2

Memorial Baptist Church will offer a full Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025 from 10:30-12:00pm. Pick up available, cars usually start lining up at 8:30am.  Address: 1785 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083.  Call 704-932-4206 for more details. 

Winter Holiday Camp for Kids

Concord Parks and Rec will be hosting a Winter camp while school is closed in December for children 6-12 years old.   Dates will be December 22, 23, 29, 30, 31 and January 2 from 8:00am-6:00pm.  $20 for City Residents and $35 Non-City Residents.  Click here for more information.
