CWES named a top-10 Title 1 school in N.C. for closing the achievement gap
Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School has been recognized as one of the top-10 Title 1 schools in the state of North Carolina for closing the achievement gap. The award, presented by the North Carolina Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (NCFEPA), is based on CWES’ 2023-2024 academic achievement data. Principal Megan Smith received the award on behalf of her school at this week’s Title I Distinguished Schools luncheon as part of the annual NCFEPA conference in Greensboro. Also in attendance were Dr. Mary Beth Roth, CCS Chief Student Services Officer, and Amy Cummings, CCS Title 1 Programs Coordinator.
Congratulations to Megan and her staff for this amazing accomplishment.
