Harris Road Middle School student Phaneendra Bulusu recently finished second in the Carolina Panthers Regional Spelling Bee for North Carolina, held at Panthers Stadium.

This qualifies Phaneendra for the Scripps National Spelling Bee Tournament held in Washington D.C. beginning on May 26^th. Phaneendra will be one of six students who qualified out of the 65 competing school districts across North and South Carolina.
