Mount Pleasant Middle School FFA had a GREAT week at NC FFA State Convention! 

MPMS FFA was recognized as the Top Middle School FFA Chapter in NC & a Gold Level National Chapter! The National Chapter Award Program measures the overall effectiveness for a chapter to implement a challenging and well-rounded annual Program of Activities focusing on growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture. MPMS FFA is 1 of 37 out of the 360+ chapters in North Carolina, to earn the Gold Star rating from the North Carolina FFA in the National Chapter Award Program.

Additional Congratulations to the following students for winning various events and awards at the North Carolina FFA State Convention!

🥇Alysa Crayton was recognized for having the best Middle School SAE Project in the State! She also got 1st Place in the State for her SAE on Diversified Livestock Production! She will advance to Nationals!

🥈Caleb Cline got 2nd Place in the State for his Poultry Production SAE! Caleb operates his own egg production business as well as sells laying hens.

⭐ALL of the Agriscience Fair Projects placed 1st in the State and will advance to the National FFA Competition!!!
