Attention families! We want to remind you about our valuable K-5 reading resources designed to support North Carolina’s youngest readers.
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has developed Literacy at Home, a digital resource filled with engaging literacy activities tailored for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. This resource focuses on essential skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and oral language. By exploring these activities together, you can help your child build a strong foundation for becoming proficient readers.
You can access Literacy at Home today and empower your child’s reading journey! Literacy at Home is also available on both the district and school webpages by looking in the icons row near the top of the webpage.
