Cox Mill High School Academy of Information Technology bridges the gap between industry and education by providing real world exploration through internships and work-based learning experiences, as well as active work with our advisory board. We offer two tracks of study, computer programming and multimedia webpage design. The AoIT experience will benefit any student, regardless of their career interest, as it will help prepare them for the technology driven world we live in today.
Academy programming allows students to take traditional high school courses with the addition of approximately one class per semester in the chosen career pathway. Students in our academy programs are still eligible for Advanced Placement (AP) and Career and College Promise (CCP) coursework, as well as athletics, extracurriculars and fine arts programming.
