Cabarrus County Schools requires an approved purchase order for all purchases and all vendors are required to submit a Vendor Application and W9 before any purchase order will be approved.  These online documents may be viewed and submitted via the “Required Documentation” links below.

Cabarrus County Schools carries out its purchasing responsibilities and established procedures in accordance with policies set forth in the purchasing manuals of the State of North Carolina, Purchase and Contract Division, and North Carolina General Statutes.  The school system intends that its purchasing be conducted on an open, ethical and sound basis so that the taxpayer receives full value for each dollar spent.  The list of vendor terms and conditions may be viewed by clicking on the Purchase Order: Terms & Conditions” or use the link below.

Please Note:  Vendors and their subcontractors with 25 or more employees in North Carolina as defined in Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the NC General Statutes must comply with E-Verify requirements to contract with Cabarrus County Schools.
