Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) requires an approved purchase order to be put in place with an approved vendor before any order can be processed. In order to become an approved vendor with CCS a completed Vendor Application, ACH Form, and a W9 Form must be submitted to the CCS Finance Department. These forms can be obtained from the CCS treasurer you have been in contact with regarding your services being used within CCS. Please note, these forms must be submitted by a CCS treasurer in order for your business to be added to our payment system.

Cabarrus County Schools carries out its purchasing responsibilities and established procedures in accordance with policies set forth in the purchasing manuals of the State of North Carolina, Purchase and Contract Division, and North Carolina General Statutes. The school system intends that its purchasing be conducted on an open, ethical and sound basis so that the taxpayer receives full value for each dollar spent. Please Note: Vendors and their subcontractors with 25 or more employees in North Carolina as defined in Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the NC General Statutes must comply with E-Verify requirements to contract with Cabarrus County Schools. E-Verify is a Federal program operated by the US Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies, or any successor or equivalent program used to verify the work authorization of newly hired employees pursuant to federal law.
