Thank you for your interest in doing business with Cabarrus County Schools.  The information contained on this web page and the associated links is being provided as a source to all prospective bidders who wish to do business with the Cabarrus County Schools. 


Vendors listed on the North Carolina Debarred Vendor List, will not be considered for doing business with Cabarrus County Schools.  Refer to “Debarred Vendors ” or use the link below.

 Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) requires an approved purchase order to be put in place with an approved vendor before any order can be processed. In order to become an approved vendor with CCS a completed Vendor Application, ACH Form, and a W9 Form must be submitted to the CCS Finance Department. These forms can be obtained from the CCS treasurer you have been in contact with regarding your services being used within CCS. Please note, these forms must be submitted by a CCS treasurer in order for your business to be added to our payment system.

Cabarrus County Schools carries out its purchasing responsibilities and established procedures in accordance with policies set forth in the purchasing manuals of the State of North Carolina, Purchase and Contract Division, and North Carolina General Statutes.  The school system intends that its purchasing be conducted on an open, ethical and sound basis so that the taxpayer receives full value for each dollar spent.  The list of vendor terms and conditions may be viewed by clicking on the “Purchase Order: Terms & Conditions” or use the link below.

 
Please Note:  Vendors and their subcontractors with 25 or more employees in North Carolina as defined in Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the NC General Statutes must comply with E-Verify requirements to contract with Cabarrus County Schools. E-Verify is a Federal program operated by the US Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies, or any successor or equivalent program used to verify the work authorization of newly hired employees pursuant to federal law.  For more information related to the E-Verify process and requirements, please follow the “E-verify Link ” or use the below.
