Business, Finance, and Marketing Education is a broad, comprehensive curriculum area with courses at the middle and high school levels. This program area provides students with meaningful instruction for and about business. Instruction is focused on business skills and techniques, basic economics, and business attitudes essential to become a globally engaged and productive citizen.
Business, Finance and Marketing Education is designed to prepare graduates to be viable competitors in the business world and to prepare them for advanced educational opportunities. The instructional program begins in the middle grades by building an understanding of the basic business skills, later advancing into entrepreneurship and marketing. This program of study continues into the high school grades with courses that provide knowledge and skill development in Accounting, Finance, Marketing Management, Sales, and Tourism.
