Mac OS User Tabbing
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.
I am a nationally certified school psychologist with 23 years of experience. I have served Cabarrus County families since 2013 and am licensed by the NC Department of Education as a Traumatic Brain Injury evaluator and a Reconnect for Resiliency trainer. I also serve as the elementary school psychologist lead and a supervisor for school psychology interns in Cabarrus County. My professional interests include working with English learners, cross battery assessment, supporting students' social, emotional, and mental health, and helping families access community supports. I enjoy collaborating with my SISP team, which includes school counselors, social workers, nurses, and SROs, to problem-solve and support students' needs. Outside of work, I enjoy reading professional articles and books, spending time with my family, being outdoors, and traveling with friends and family.
